Manenberg SAPS has opened a murder and six attempted murder dockets after the shooting incident.
Police in the Western Cape have launched a manhunt for gunmen following a shooting incident in Manenberg on Wednesday evening that resulted in the death of one person and left several others injured.
A police officer is among the injured.
The provincial police spokesperson, Captain Frederick van Wyk, confirmed the shooting incident.
“A 22-year-old male was shot and fatally wounded, and four males aged 24, 35, 36, and 48, including a female aged 56, were injured.
