Farmers in central Greece are assessing significant crop damage after a severe storm swept through the region on Friday afternoon, bringing hail and strong winds, local media reported.
Hailstones described as hazelnut-sized struck fields in the Magoula area near Loutra Ypatis in Fthiotida, causing extensive losses to kiwi and olive crops, the LamiaReport news site said.
Further west, additional agricultural damage was reported due to hail and strong winds.
