Greek authorities have arrested a man wanted in Sweden for alleged involvement in the mail delivery of drugs, police said Friday.
The suspect, only identified as a 33-year-old foreign national, was arrested on Monday in the Athens district of Kallithea.
A police statement said he is accused in Sweden of having allegedly mailed several packages of unspecified drugs weighing 7 kilograms in total, as well as 500 sleeping tablets. These acts allegedly took place in 2024 and 2025.
