Duncan Hoorn heard evidence of the man who slept with his wife.
A statement by Chantal Pasqualle-Hoorn's lover was read into the court record after he opted not to testify in person due to safety concerns.
Sitting quietly in the dock, murder accused Duncan Hoorn listened attentively as State Advocate Renee Uys yesterday read the witness's statement into the record in the Western Cape High Court sitting in the Wynberg Regional Court.
The man, who's identity is being withheld, said both parties were aware that they were involved with other people at the time of their affair.
He knew Pasqualle-Hoorn was married and she knew he was in a relationship and had children.
