MANILA, Philippines — The driver who figured in a hit-and-run incident that injured a Philippine National Police – Highway Patrol Group (PNP HPG) rider along the Southern Luzon Expressway (SLEX) has surrendered and apologized, the police said on Wednesday.
In a statement, PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. identified the driver as Manjot Singh, 21, from Marikina City.

In a press briefing in Camp Crame, HPG Director Brig. Gen. Rommel Batangan said Singh surrendered to the HPG Intelligence Division on Tuesday.FEATURED STORIES
