A 30-year-old man has been arrested for hitting a National Security Guard (NSG) officer with his car in south-west Delhi’s R.K. Puram, the police said on Monday. The incident took place on July 9 and the accused had been on the run since then.
The victim, identified as Narender Singh was rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he is undergoing treatment. The accused has been charged with Sections 281 (rash driving) and 125(a) (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the BNS.
