…says organisers were suspended members
By Gift ChapiOdekina, Abuja
The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), National Assembly Chapter, has distanced itself from a purported protest organised by a group identifying itself as “Concerned Staff of the National Assembly,” describing the action as unauthorised and not representative of the union’s position.
In a rejoinder and disclaimer issued on Tuesday, Acting Chairman of PASAN’s National Assembly Chapter, Comrade Mathias Obaje, said the union neither authorised nor endorsed the protest and urged members of the public to disregard any claims suggesting otherwise.
