TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Prosecutors have named three suspects in an alleged corruption case involving the mismanagement of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) during the 2025–2026 period. Syarief Sulaiman Nahdi, the Deputy Director of Special Crimes Investigation at the Attorney General’s Office, stated that investigators identified the suspects after securing sufficient evidence."Based on the two pieces of sufficient evidence obtained by investigators, DH, SS, and LP have been designated as suspects," Syarief announced during a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.The three suspects are Dadan Hindayana, who was just removed from his position as Head of BGN on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The other two suspects are the former Deputy Head of BGN, retired Police Inspector General Sony Sonjaya, and retired Army Lieutenant General Lodewyk Pusung.The suspects were officially designated less than 24 hours after the government dismissed them from their posts at the agency. The Attorney General's Office also raided the BGN office at 2:00 a.m. early Wednesday morning. A Tempo observation at the scene revealed that a security officer noted the arrival of four cars carrying prosecutors at the BGN office, escorted by TNI personnel.Investigators have charged the three suspects under Article 603 and Article 604 of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code. Syarief noted that the Attorney General's Office had actually begun probing the case a week ago.
