A Dutch paraglider was rescued after spending more than six hours stranded in a remote, hard-to-reach area on Mount Olympus in northern Greece following a fall on Tuesday, according to local reports.
The man was located by rescue teams six to seven hours after the incident near Karya on the southern slopes of Mount Olympus, at an altitude of about 900 meters.
Emergency crews transported him by ambulance shortly after midnight.
He was taken to the University General Hospital of Larissa with rib injuries, where he underwent examinations and remains under medical observation, hospital officials said.
