Clear, sunny skies and high temperatures are forecast for most of Greece Monday, with mild winds and a chance of afternoon rainfall in some higher parts of the mainland.
The temperature will reach a high of 35 degrees Celsius in central Greece.
In the Greater Athens region it will get no hotter than 32 degrees, with a low of 16.
Much the same weather is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday. Again, there is a likelihood of rain or scattered storms in higher altitudes from the early afternoon, particularly in northern Greece.
