Mostly sunny and warm weather is forecast across Greece on Sunday, with temperatures climbing slightly above seasonal norms in many parts of the country.
The day will begin with clear skies nationwide, although cloud cover is expected to build over mainland regions during the afternoon and evening.
Localized showers may develop in mountainous areas, while isolated thunderstorms are possible in western and northern Greece.
Visibility could be reduced in parts of western Greece during the early morning and late evening. Winds will remain light, blowing mainly from the west at 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 28 to 31degrees Celsius across most of the country, with some inland areas in northern and eastern Greece seeing highs of up to 32 degrees. Cooler conditions will persist on the islands, particularly in the Cyclades and Crete, where temperatures are forecast to peak at around 27 degrees.
