Aletta Rose, 63, accused of murder, claims her life in Pollsmoor prison is a living hell.

Murder-accused Aletta Rose, 63, has made alarming claims regarding her treatment by fellow inmates at Pollsmoor prison, describing her time in the notorious facility as a living "hell".

Rose appeared in the Bellville Magistrate's Court on Thursday, where she is accused of murdering her sister, Constance Scholtz, 79.

She allegedly beheaded and dismembered her sibling inside their Bellville South home on March 19.

Rose was previously convicted of murdering her brother-in-law (her husband’s brother) in 1997 when she stabbed him in the chest during an argument with her husband.
