DAGUPAN CITY, PANGASINAN, Philippines — The Julius K. Quiambao Medical and Wellness Center (JKQMWC), Pangasinan’s newest and most modern hospital, opened its EEG (electroencephalogram) and Sleep Laboratory on May 22, offering services vital in diagnosing and managing neurological conditions that occur during sleep.

The conditions include epilepsy, seizure disorders, sleep apnea, insomnia and narcolepsy.

The new facility is equipped with modern EEG machines and comprehensive sleep study systems capable of conducting routine EEGs, long-term monitoring and full polysomnography, commonly known as sleep studies.

JKQMWC medical director Dave Gamboa said the opening of the EEG and Sleep Laboratory underscores the hospital’s commitment to bridging gaps in specialized health care.
