A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State, Abdulrahman Haske, has alleged irregularities in Thursday’s governorship primary in the state.

Haske, in a statement issued on Friday by the publicity secretary of his campaign organisation, Abdulgaffar Ahmed, said there were issues surrounding the conduct of the exercise that required careful review in the interest of the party’s internal democracy ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Some of the concerns he raised include the absence of collation processes in some local government areas, irregularities in voting in certain polling units, and limited access to collation procedures before the final declaration of results.

He alleged that there was no proper collation process in some local government areas, while irregularities were also recorded in certain polling units during the exercise.

Haske further claimed that some aspirants and their representatives were denied adequate access to the collation procedures before the eventual declaration of results.
