Aggrieved aspirants and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State have called on President Bola Tinubu and the national leadership of the party to immediately cancel the National Assembly primaries conducted in the state, accusing Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of allegedly hijacking the process to impose his loyalists.
The demand followed the alleged non-conduct of direct or consensus primaries for senatorial candidates across the three districts of the state on Monday, despite the exercise being officially scheduled by the party.
