The nurse, who worked at Firston Hospital located along Ijede Road, Oshota Bus Stop, Ikorodu, told SaharaReporters that he resumed work at the facility on February 1, 2026.
A registered nurse identified as Jude Chukwuemeka has accused the owner of a private hospital in Lagos State, Dr. Godspower Onukpousi, of unlawful dismissal, intimidation and rights violations after he allegedly complained about unsafe medical practices and the use of unqualified personnel as nurses.
The nurse, who worked at Firston Hospital located along Ijede Road, Oshota Bus Stop, Ikorodu, told SaharaReporters that he resumed work at the facility on February 1, 2026.
According to him, trouble started after he travelled home for a family burial and later raised concerns about the operations of the hospital.
He explained that before travelling for the burial of a family member scheduled for May 1, he had informed the hospital owner and obtained permission.
