The Elegant Nurses Forum (ENF) has condemned the detention of two health workers by officers attached to Area N Police Station in Ijede, Ikorodu area of Lagos State after they reportedly alerted authorities to a potential security threat against a primary healthcare centre.
The affected workers were identified as Nurse Ojumoro Faith and a laboratory attendant, Mellor Grace, both attached to Okeletu Primary Health Care Centre in Ijede.

An eyewitness told SaharaReporters that shortly after the couple arrived at the gate of the facility, three unidentified men, suspected to be bandits, approached them and demanded to know who managed the health centre.
