The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly invited a nurse, Nwokediuko Jude Chukwuemeka, and the Managing Director of Firston Hospital, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Dr Godspower, over an ongoing dispute between the parties, according to the Elegant Nurses Forum (ENF).
In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by Nurse Thomas Abiodun Olamide, National Coordinator of the Elegant Nurses Forum (ENF), the group said the matter escalated after it publicly raised concerns over the treatment of its member, adding that the security agency reached out following its earlier press release.
According to the forum, a Department of State Services (DSS) official contacted the nurse on Tuesday morning, stating that the agency had become aware of the case online and had initiated an invitation for clarification.
The group also claimed that the hospital owner had been invited.
