In a press statement signed by its National Coordinator, Nurse Thomas Abiodun Olamide, the group condemned what it described as the harassment of Mrs. Ifeoma Nwaogaranya and Comrade Francis Nwapa, National Secretary of Youth Rights Campaign (YRC), over their alleged role in exposing “anti-student practices and administrative oppression” at the institution.
The Elegant Nurses Forum (ENF) has accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of allegedly being used to intimidate individuals who raised concerns about alleged poor conditions and administrative practices at Ezzy International College of Nursing Science, Enugu State.

“It is disgraceful that in a country overwhelmed by killings, kidnappings, armed banditry, violent attacks and worsening insecurity, the Department of State Services (DSS) is allegedly being reduced to an irresponsible and idle tool of repression in the hands of influential individuals who cannot tolerate criticism or call for accountability,” the forum said.
