Ikedife, who hails from the same Otolo Nnewi community as Metuh, made the allegations while addressing APC supporters on Friday ahead of the party’s House of Representatives primary election in the state.
Fresh controversy has engulfed the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Anambra State after the party’s South-East Organising Secretary, Dozie Ikedife, publicly accused former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, of assault, intimidation and alleged manipulation of primary election results.
Ikedife, who hails from the same Otolo Nnewi community as Metuh, made the allegations while addressing APC supporters on Friday ahead of the party’s House of Representatives primary election in the state.
In a viral video obtained by SaharaReporters, Ikedife accused Metuh of attempting to impose his preferred aspirant in the contest and narrated how an alleged confrontation between both men escalated during a meeting in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
Speaking before party faithful, Ikedife urged APC supporters to mobilise massively during the election and resist what he described as manipulation.
