Fog, cool conditions an isolated rain for parts of the Eastern Seaboard.

South Africans can expect a mostly calm and cool Friday across the country as stable weather conditions dominate many provinces. While widespread severe weather is not expected, isolated showers and light rain will affect parts of the eastern coastline and the far northeast during the day and into the evening.

In Gauteng, the day will start partly cloudy and cool to warm, before clearing from the south during the afternoon. Residents can expect pleasant conditions with plenty of sunshine later in the day, although the UVB sunburn index remains high.

Mpumalanga will see morning fog patches over the Highveld and escarpment regions, accompanied by a 30% chance of drizzle in these areas early on. Conditions will remain partly cloudy and cool for most of the province, while the Lowveld turns warmer during the afternoon.

Limpopo will also begin with patches of morning fog across the western and central parts. A 30% chance of light drizzle is expected along the escarpment during the morning, otherwise conditions will remain partly cloudy and cool to warm.
