Expect scattered rain and thundershowers across South Africa this Friday.
South Africans can expect a cool and unsettled Friday as cloud cover spreads across much of the country, with scattered showers and thundershowers affecting several central and eastern regions.
While no severe weather warnings have been issued by the South African Weather Service, pockets of rain and gusty coastal winds will make for a chilly and damp end to the working week in many areas.
Rainfall is expected to be most widespread over the central interior, where a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers is forecast across parts of the Northern Cape, western Free State and into sections of the Eastern Cape interior.
Elsewhere, a 30% chance of showers and rain is expected over parts of Limpopo, North West, Mpumalanga, the Eastern Cape coastline and the south-western Cape.
