A 58-year-old woman, P. Pothumani of Theni was killed in a road accident after she fell down from the bike rode by a minor boy in Tirumangalam on Wednesday.
The police said that the deceased was the pillion rider on the bike rode by a 14-year-old boy.
Even as the bike was proceeding on Madurai-Tirumangalam Road at Maravankulam bus stop, his bike rammed against another bike rode by one J. Nagalakshmi (34) of Maravankulam.
Pothumani fell down from the bike and sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot. Tirumangalam Town police have registered a case.
