'Even If They Keep Me In Prison, I'll Defeat Them From Prison,' Sowore Says After Kuje Prison Release, Vows To Become Nigeria's President

Human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has accused the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of attempting to stop him from becoming Nigeria’s president. He declared that no amount of intimidation, arrest or detention would prevent him from pursuing what he described as the liberation of the country. Sowore made the declaration on Tuesday shortly after he was granted bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja over comments in which he referred to President Tinubu as a “criminal.”
