Human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has accused the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of attempting to stop him from becoming Nigeria’s president.

Sowore made the declaration on Tuesday shortly after he was granted bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja over comments in which he referred to President Tinubu as a “criminal.”
The case, filed by the Department of State Services (DSS), was presided over by Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
