Dr. Peter Stafford, a US medical missionary, tested positive for the Bundibugyo Ebola virus while serving in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His wife, Dr. Rebekah Stafford, their four children and an additional doctor are being transported to Berlin’s Charite University Hospital, where Stafford is receiving care. They “have departed DRC and are en route to other locations where they can be monitored in close proximity to expert care if needed,” Christian group Serge said in a press release.
