Bulgaria has officially begun preparations to host Eurovision 2027, with the government confirming that an organizing structure will be established this week following DARA’s victory at the 70th edition of the contest in Vienna. Minister of Culture Evtim Miloshev said the Council of Ministers will set up a dedicated body responsible for coordinating the event, including venue selection, security planning, logistics, marketing and overall management.

This year’s contest has been overshadowed by discord and controversy, with five countries withdrawing in a dispute over the continued participation of Israel.
