The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has detained a Russian agent who helped direct strikes on Ukrainian Defense Forces facilities in Kharkiv.

According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.

According to the SSU, the suspect is a local man eligible for military service who, while evading mobilization, began directing Russian strikes on the city at the behest of Russia.

It was established that the suspect contacted Russian intelligence services through Telegram channels and offered to assist them in the war against Ukraine.

Following instructions from his Russian handlers, he gathered information about the locations of Ukrainian Defense Forces units that Russian forces were preparing to target in combined attacks, including with guided aerial bombs and attack drones.
