The SSU’s Counterintelligence Directorate detained an enemy agent who was preparing coordinates for a new series of Russian missile and drone strikes on the Khmelnytskyi region.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.
It has been established that the perpetrator was collaborating with the Russian Federal Security Service. Among the main targets the enemy had tasked him with reconnoitering were enterprises in the defense-industrial complex and logistics centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The SSU uncovered the enemy’s plan in advance and apprehended the suspect red-handed while he was conducting further reconnaissance near a strategic facility.
The detainee turned out to be a local resident who had previously served time for drug-related crimes.
