The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine has detained an agent of Russian military intelligence (better known as the GRU) who directed missile and drone attacks against the defenders of Odesa.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.
The investigation established that the enemy had designated as priority targets for the suspect the locations with the highest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In addition, the agent attempted to identify radar stations, positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, and mobile fire groups.
To facilitate strikes against these targets, the agent roamed the city and photographed the Defense Forces’ locations using his phone’s camera.
