The Security Service of Ukraine detained an enemy agent who was gathering coordinates for a new series of Russian missile and drone strikes on the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.
The detainee is an employee of an agricultural company in the Kyiv region. It has been established that he collaborated with the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB); he came to their attention while searching for “easy money” on Telegram channels.
Among the enemy’s primary targets were energy infrastructure facilities, specifically key power substations that supply most of both regions.
The suspect also attempted to identify and transmit the geolocations of Ukraine’s logistics depots and air defense combat positions to the FSB.
