Jordan Hermann celebrates his 150 on his ODI debut for the Proteas.
Jordan Hermann capped a dream ODI debut with a marvellous 150 to power the Proteas to 348/6 in the historic match against Namibia in Windhoek.
It is the first time the two southern African neighbours are meeting in a 50-over contest.
Hermann was one of three ODI debutants, along with opening partner Connor Esterhuizen and all-rounder Duan Jansen. Hermann also joined Proteas teammate Matthew Breetzke as the only two batters to score 150 on ODI debut.
The Warriors prodigy was excellent throughout, facing 126 balls and striking 17 boundaries and three sixes. After losing Esterhuizen (10) early, Hermann formed a marvellous partnership with Tony de Zorzi.
