Proteas batting star Jordan Hermann believes his girlfriend, Inge Krog, brought him luck as he made a dream start to his international career.
Hermann smashed 150 on his Proteas ODI debut against Namibia in Windhoek on Wednesday, helping South Africa to a 99-run victory.
The stylish left-hander said Krog’s presence in the stands may have played a part in his remarkable innings.
“My girlfriend was also here. I believe she’s a bit of a good luck charm,” Hermann said after the match.
