In just his second appearance in the format, the 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batter struck a brilliant 119 off 110 balls (8x4, 6x6) after opening the innings, marking the highest individual score by a wicketkeeper against Namibia in international cricket history.
The innings built directly on his blistering touch from the recent T20I Tri-Series, where he smashed an explosive 88 off 40 balls against the hosts, confirming his fast-emerging status as a true multi-format star for the Proteas.
Esterhuizen’s breakout knock was complemented by a fluent 79 off 87 balls from Tony de Zorzi, who provided crucial stability at No 3.
