The average price of diesel in Bulgaria continued to climb on Wednesday, reaching €1.86 per liter, while motorists in Sofia are paying as much as €1.93 per liter at the pumps of the largest gas station chains.
The price of diesel+ has also moved above €2 per liter, BGNES reported.
Data from the Fuelo.net platform shows that diesel became €0.01 more expensive per liter compared with Tuesday, putting it among the fuels that have recorded the most noticeable recent price movements.
The average price of A95 gasoline remained unchanged at €1.61 per liter nationwide. However, prices at the major gas station chains in Sofia are higher than the average reported by the platform.
In Sofia, the average price of the most widely used gasoline is €1.60 per liter, while regular diesel averages €1.85. Propane-butane is priced at an average of €0.67 per liter, and methane at €1.42.
