President Volodymyr Zelensky said that despite good results in shooting down cruise missiles, Ukraine needs additional interceptor missiles to counter ballistic threats, and announced meetings with partners on weapons supplies.
Ukrinform reports this, citing the head of state’s post on Telegram .
“In Kyiv and the region, as well as in many other regions, work to deal with the aftermath of the Russian strike has been underway since overnight. It was a complex attack, which the Russians deliberately tried to plan to cause as much harm to human life as possible: ballistic and cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and jet-powered Shaheds. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure in the capital have suffered significant damage. As of now, ten people are known to have been injured. Medical caare is being provided to everyone who needs it. Emergency Service workers managed to rescue thirteen people. Unfortunately, two people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones,” he wrote.
