Russia continues to rely on ballistic missiles as its primary instrument of terror, so it is necessary to accelerate the delivery of air defense systems to Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement in an evening video address, according to Ukrinform.
“Work is still ongoing in Kyiv at the sites of the Russian strikes. A large number of ballistic missiles were used – today was one of the largest ballistic missile attacks. Kyiv and the region were the Russians’ primary target. They had been preparing this attack for several days, stockpiling missiles. The threat, of course, remains even now, and this must be taken into account,” Zelensky noted.
The head of state reported that today’s enemy strike damaged more than a hundred facilities in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, and also noted that strikes today targeted Kharkiv, the Sumy region, the Donetsk region, and Kherson.
Zelensky thanked everyone who is “truly helping people and saving lives.”
