Ukraine is continuing its efforts to secure additional air defense systems and missiles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his evening address, according to Ukrinform.

"Today, we continued our work to ensure we have air defense capabilities. We do this work every single day. Absolutely. Without a break. It's really not easy. We have to look for missiles for air defense, additional systems – especially against ballistic missiles," he said.

Zelensky said that over the past few days Ukraine had already been in contact with its international partners, including the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, France, and the United States.

The president also said that this week he had assigned specific tasks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, adding that he expects concrete results.
