A total of 181 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on September 7, with more than 30 enemy attacks reported in the Pokrovsk sector.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an update on the battlefield situation as of 10:00 p.m.
“Since the beginning of the day, a total of 181 combat clashes have taken place. The enemy launched 62 airstrikes, dropping 168 guided glide bombs. In addition, it used 5,506 kamikaze drones to strike targets and carried out 1,469 strikes on settlements and the positions of our troops,” the report says.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched three airstrikes with 10 glide bombs, conducted seven assault operations, and shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements 80 times.
During the day, in the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchansk, Khatnie, and toward Petro-Ivanivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
