Over the course of June 9, there were 180 combat engagements between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian occupiers, with the highest number of attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 22:00.
"In total, 180 combat engagements took place since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out 69 air strikes, dropping 199 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers used 6,209 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,170 strikes on our positions and populated areas," the statement said.
Four combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, with one battle still ongoing. The enemy carried out one air strike using four guided aerial bombs and conducted 42 shellings, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
