On September 6, there were 206 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian forces along the front line, with nearly 40 of them in the Pokrovsk sector.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its update on the situation as of 22:00 on Sunday, September 6.
“A total of 206 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out 59 airstrikes, dropped 208 guided aerial bombs, and used 5,308 kamikaze drones to strike targets. It also carried out 1,957 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops,” the statement said.
No offensive activity by Russian forces was recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Izybytske, Starytsia, Ustynivka, and Khatnie; two combat engagements are still ongoing.
