A total of 210 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day, with the fiercest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors, where Russian forces launched 45 attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its operational update as of 22:00 on July 1, 2026, according to Ukrinform.

"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 210 combat engagements. The aggressor carried out two missile strikes using two missiles, 53 airstrikes involving 158 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,667 kamikaze drones, and launched 2,150 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the statement said.

According to the General Staff, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 41 times, including six attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched 13 assaults toward Ternova, Chaikivka, Sheviakivka, Zarubynka, Khatnie, and toward Lyman, Starytsia, and Artilne.
