A total of 215 combat engagements have taken place along the front line since the beginning of the day, with the heaviest fighting continuing in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its operational update as of 22:00 on Saturday, July 11, published on Facebook.
"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 215 combat engagements. The enemy launched two missile strikes using seven missiles, carried out 60 airstrikes, and dropped 160 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 5,924 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,134 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops," the statement said.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces launched three attacks, one of which is still ongoing. The enemy also carried out one airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 66 times, including two attacks with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched seven assaults near Lyman, Hryhorivka, Karaichne, Ivanivka, Malyi Burluk, and Starytsia. Two engagements are still underway.
