Over the past day, September 7, 244 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian forces were recorded along the front line.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in a Facebook update on the situation as of 8:00 on Tuesday, September 8.
Russian forces launched 99 airstrikes, dropping 285 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 8,495 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,508 shelling attacks, including 26 with multiple rocket launchers.
The areas under attack included Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Lomlenka, Hirky, Rivne, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Pysarivka, Sadky, Nova Sich, Myropillia, and Mala Slobidka in the Sumy region, as well as Khrinivka and Krasnyi Khutir in the Chernihiv region. Tovstodubove, Luzhky and Ulanove came under airstrikes.
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck five clusters of Russian personnel, four UAV control posts and two Russian artillery positions.
