Over the past day, September 8, Ukraine’s Defense Forces engaged in 263 combat clashes with Russian forces on the front line.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an update on the battlefield situation as of 8:00 on September 9.
Russian forces launched two missile strikes and 79 airstrikes, dropping 302 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,233 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,601 shelling attacks, 42 of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.
The enemy shelled Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Atynske, Volfyne, Tovstodubove, Mala Slobidka, Potapivka, Sopych, Hirky, Myshutyne, Kozache, Vovkivka, Sukhodil, Kucherivka, and Stara Huta in the Sumy region, as well as Khrinivka and Chornyi Rih in the Chernihiv region.
Ukraine’s Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck seven clusters of Russian personnel, eight UAV control posts, and an artillery system.
