Over the past day, September 1, there were 213 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian invading forces on the front line.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in a Facebook update on the situation as of 8:00 on September 2.

The enemy launched one missile strike and 93 airstrikes, dropping 313 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 11,511 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,969 shelling attacks, including 57 using multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Sumy region, Korenok, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Neskuchne, Ulanove, Yunakivka and Volfyne came under artillery fire. Areas around Tovstodubove, Vilna Sloboda, Khotin and Khrapivshchyna were subjected to airstrikes.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck 10 areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, six command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles, five guns and one other important target.
