There were 215 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders along the front line over the past day.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its situation update as of 8:00 on September 3.
Russian forces launched 98 airstrikes, dropping 353 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian troops used 10,672 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,933 shelling attacks, including 25 using multiple rocket launchers.
The areas under attack included Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Hirky, Iskryskivshchyna, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Sopych, Atynske, Yanzhulivka, Lomlenka, Rohizne, Volfyne, Potapivka, Kruzhok, Nova Sich, Kucherivka, Sukhodil, Mala Slobidka, Simeichyne, Holyshevske, Budky, and Shpyl in the Sumy region, as well as Krasnyi Khutir in the Chernihiv region.
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck three clusters of Russian personnel, seven artillery guns and positions, three UAV control posts, a warehouse-workshop, a command post and another important target.
