A total of 233 combat engagements between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders were recorded along the front line on Friday, August 14.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this in an update on the battlefield situation as of 08:00 on Saturday, August 15.
Russian forces carried out 71 airstrikes, dropping 241 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 10,626 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,042 shelling attacks, including 36 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Artillery fire hit Neskuchne, Bachivsk, Koreniok, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Yastrubshchyna, Volfyne, Hirky, Bezsalivka, Kozache, Seredyna-Buda and Rohizne in the Sumy region. Tovstodubove also came under an airstrike.
