Monsoon, cyclones push agri losses past P3B — DA

MANILA, Philippines — Agricultural losses topped P3 billion as of Wednesday due to the enhanced southwest monsoon and Tropical Cyclones Luis, Maymay, and Neneng, the Department of Agriculture (DA) said.

In its bulletin on Wednesday, the DA said the country’s farm sector sustained P3.39 billion in losses due to weather disturbances.
