A psychologist moonlighting as a drug supplier, a folk singer allegedly on the client list, and a dealer using a “ghost phone” and coded slang to stay one step ahead of police, Greek authorities unraveled it all this week in a drug sting.
Police arrested three people – including the psychologist – in a sprawling Attica trafficking case that also names two fugitives and 18 unidentified suspects.
Investigators said a 41-year-old man had, since at least July, supplied, stored, processed and distributed large quantities of cannabis and cocaine across western Attica, along with MDMA, LSD and pills obtained from the psychologist.
He allegedly stashed drugs at his home in Haidari and arranged deliveries by courier. Police said he carried out 90 drug sales worth €3,800 between early July and August 23. He and the psychologist were arrested Thursday in Athens; police seized cannabis, €445 and a phone. A 45-year-old buyer was also arrested.
